Char Dham Yatra (9N/10D)

Itinerary

1. Day1: Haridwar to Barkot

   On arrival at Haridwar railway station, we shall continue directly by road. On reaching the destination, we will check into the hotel. After refreshing in the hotel, we shall head towards Har Ki Pauri to take a dip in the holy waters of the river Ganga. Later, we will continue our journey to Barkot, check-in at the hotel, and stay overnight.

2. Day2: Barkot to Yamunotri to Barkot

   After having breakfast at the hotel we will drive to Yamunotri Dham which is just approximately 50km away from Barkot and is our first pilgrimage stop to visit in the Char Dham circuit. It is the source of the river Yamuna. We shall also visit Divya Shila, Shani dev temple, Hanuman Chatti, and lastly relaxing your body at Surya Kund's famous hot water spring. We will drive back to Barkot and have dinner at the hotel.

3. Day3: Barkot to Uttarkashi

   After having breakfast, we will proceed to explore the hidden gems of Uttarkashi. Kashi Vishwanath temple, Maneri dam, and Barsu village where you can also further go for trekking would be our key highlights of the day. Later, we will check-in at a hotel and stay overnight.

4. Day4: Uttarkashi to Gangotri to Uttarkashi

   After having a lip-smacking breakfast, we will proceed to our next Dham of this yatra, that is, Gangotri for an unforgettable tour. Starting by offering our prayers at the Gangotri temple, dedicated to goddess Ganga is surrounded by Deodar, pines, and the greater Himalayan range. Then we shall continue to explore Jalmagna Shivlinga, Gangnani: an ideal treat for nature lovers, and Bhojbasa and would later return to our hotel in Uttarkashi.

5. Day5: Uttarkashi to Guptkashi

   In the morning, after breakfast, we continue this trip to Guptkashi. Once reaching and refreshing at the hotel we will visit the Vishwanath temple and Ardhnareshwar temple: popular Pilgrim at Guptkashi and stay overnight here itself.

6. Day6: Guptkashi to Kedarnath

   After having a finger-licking breakfast we continue this trip to Kedarnath: the key highlight of our yatra. Kedarnath is one of the holy towns of Hindu pilgrims. Renowned for the Kedarnath temple, this place offers a peaceful aura. Later, we shall pay our visit to Gaurikund. At night after reaching Kedarnath we will stay in a Dharmshala or hotel there.

7. Day7: Kedarnath to Guptkashi

   We will start our day by visiting the Kedarnath Dham and Bhairavnath temple. Then later drive back to Guptkashi and stay overnight there.

8. Day8: Guptkashi to Badrinath

   Following breakfast, we will move ahead to seek blessings at the Badrinath temple and also witness the beauty of this Dham enhanced with the beautiful background of Neelkanth peak. Badrinath also offers various activities like trekking, holy dip in Tapt Kund, and camping at Vasudhara falls. 

9. Day9: Badrinath to Rudraprayag

   In the morning, after breakfast, we will continue to Rudraprayag to witness the beautiful cave temple Augustmuni, an unusual Sangam of two holy rivers- Alaknanda and Mandakini, and Trijuginarayan- place Lord Shiva and Parvati's marriage was held. The everlasting flame held for the marriage is still burns here. Lastly, will eat dinner at the hotel.

10. Day 10: Rudraprayag to Haridwar

    After early breakfast, we will way back to Haridwar again, half of the day will be spent reaching there, there then we will visit Vaishno Mata temple.
