Overview

The Kedarnath sanctum, one of the 12 jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva, is a grand and beautiful spot, against the backdrop of the superb Kedarnath range. Kedar is another name of Lord Shiva, and the shrine is generally visited by devotees of Lord Shiva. It is believed that Lord Shiva gave darshan to the Pandavas after a long struggle at Kedarnath Dham. You can also visit Nareshwar Temple and Manikarnika Kund to take in the serenity of the river in Guptkashi.
